Sophie’s story

“Running is good for you. It gets your heart rate up.”

Sophie Baber lives with her parents in Southsea and values her home, her dog Boris, and spending time in quiet places like Baffins Pond. She attends Make, where she enjoys cooking, art, running, and being part of a busy, supportive community, and dreams of paid work in a café or kitchen. Sophie is proud of her independence, her relationship, and completing the Great South Run, and hopes for more paid opportunities for people with a learning disability.
